Comprising experienced activists and experts from diverse fields, this council plays a crucial role in bringing multidimensional perspectives and deep insights into our initiatives.

The DaughterMed Advisory Council serves as an essential component in our pursuit of excellence, providing invaluable guidance as we navigate the evolving landscape of women’s empowerment. This structural enhancement ensures that DaughterMed remains at the forefront of driving positive change across the Euro-Mediterranean region. Through collaboration, we aim to transcend borders, build meaningful connections, and create a more inclusive and empowered future for the women we serve.

The selection of advisors follows a meticulous process, prioritizing expertise in areas such as gender equality, social justice, environmental sustainability, education, healthcare, and technology. The international scope of our advisory council reflects DaughterMed’s dedication to fostering global collaboration and cross-cultural understanding.

The Role of a DaughterMed Advisor

DaughterMed Advisors play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization’s impact is both meaningful and transformative for young women. Advisors gain practical experience, apply their academic knowledge, and contribute to real-world projects that empower women across the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Representing DaughterMed at conferences, seminars, international meetings, and webinars, advocating for women’s empowerment.
Providing mentorship, training, and professional guidance to DaughterMed members and newcomers, ensuring inclusivity regardless of background or identity.
Supporting project development by contributing to proposal writing, planning, and event preparation while offering valuable insights and resources.
Building a strong professional network by collaborating with experts, organizations, and stakeholders across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
Encouraging opportunities for growth within DaughterMed, fostering new partnerships and collaborations.
Shaping policies that align with DaughterMed’s mission, particularly in women’s empowerment, gender equality, and sustainable development.
Acting as a bridge between DaughterMed and regional/international networks, fostering impactful partnerships and advocacy efforts.

DaughterMed Advisor – Eligibility Criteria

🔹 Age Requirement: 25 – 49 years old.

Residency:

Open to applicants worldwide.

Candidates should have recently graduated with a Master’s or PhD in one of the following fields or a relevant discipline:

Political Science
Business Administration
International Relations
Languages
Mass Communication

We are looking for advisors with expertise in:

✅ Strong Representation Skills – Ability to represent DaughterMed professionally in high-level discussions.

✅ Euro-Med Regional Awareness – Deep understanding of the political and cultural context of the Euro-Mediterranean region, combined with exceptional interpersonal skills for effective negotiations.

✅ Partnership-Building Experience – Strong background in collaborating with organizations, NGOs, and private sector entities within the Euro-Med region.

✅ Proposal & Grant Writing – Proven experience in developing proposals and securing external funding for projects.

✅ Professional Experience – Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in their respective fields.

💡 Active Participation – Advisors are expected to actively engage with DaughterMed’s mission and initiatives.

📅 Meeting Requirement – Attend two online meetings per month (if scheduled).

⏳ Time Dedication – Minimum 3–5 hours per week for meetings and project involvement.

✔ Fluency in English is required.

✔ Proficiency in an additional Euro-Mediterranean language is a plus.

Selection Process

5️⃣ Interview

Selected candidates will be invited for an interview (in-person, video call, or phone) to further assess their skills and alignment with DaughterMed’s values.

DaughterMed Climate Action Advisor

As part of DaughterMed’s commitment to youth empowerment and climate advocacy in the Euro-Mediterranean region, we are seeking dedicated advisors to contribute to our climate action initiatives and policy discussions.

Advisory Agreement

Before assuming their role, advisors must sign an agreement confirming their dedication to DaughterMed’s mission, ethical guidelines, and objectives.

Develop Climate-Focused Initiatives:

Propose and support projects that align with DaughterMed’s sustainability and youth empowerment goals.

Engage Youth in Climate Advocacy:

Ensure young voices are represented in environmental decision-making processes.

Support Policy Development:

Research, assess, and contribute to climate policy frameworks at local and international levels.

Represent DaughterMed on Global Platforms:

Participate in climate summits, COP conferences, and policy discussions.

Build Strategic Partnerships:

Collaborate with youth-led initiatives, civil society groups, and climate-focused organizations.

Host Training & Capacity-Building Sessions:

Facilitate discussions and skill-building workshops on climate change and sustainability.

Climate Advisor Position - DaughterMed

Responsibilities:

Assist in organizing awareness campaigns, conducting training sessions, and developing educational materials to enhance understanding of human trafficking and its signs.

Support the development of Dialogue of Human Fraternity Document projects, fostering international cooperation and information exchange with EU-Med countries.

Coordinate activities related to project implementation, ensuring alignment with DaughterMed’s mission.

Conduct research and analysis on relevant topics, providing insights to support advocacy efforts.

Qualifications:

Strong background in human rights, law, social work, public policy, or related fields.

Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds.

Solid understanding of human rights principles, international human rights law, and key issues related to trafficking.

Knowledge of international human rights standards and their application in addressing human rights and trafficking challenges.
