1. Communication Officer

Develop and implement communication strategies to promote DaughterMed’s mission and projects, with a special focus on empowering women.

● Manage DaughterMed’s digital and social media platforms, including content creation and engagement aimed at female audiences.

● Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels, emphasizing gender equality and women’s empowerment.

● Prepare press releases, articles, and other communication materials for media outreach that highlight women’s initiatives and achievements.

● Monitor media coverage and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns focusing on women’s issues.

● Cultivate relationships with media outlets, partners, and stakeholders to enhance DaughterMed’s visibility and reputation, particularly within the context of women’s empowerment.

3. Financial Accountant

Reports to the Treasurer

Responsibilities:

● Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

● Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

● Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.

● Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities for financial reporting and compliance matters.

● Maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.

● Support grant management and reporting processes, including budget monitoring and donor reporting.

2. Human Resources Specialist

Reports to the Executive Director

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with organizational objectives and legal requirements, with a focus on empowering women in the workplace.

● Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and orientation sessions.

● Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.

● Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing and employee insurance, ensuring equitable treatment for women.

● Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies, with an emphasis on supporting female staff.

● Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.

4. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants' Age:

25-35 years

Educational Background:

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field related to the position they are applying for.

Commitment:

Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of DaughterMed, as well as a willingness to actively contribute to projects. Employees are expected to adhere to the organization’s policies and guidelines.

Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred for most positions. Any additional language skills relevant to the Euro-Mediterranean region are advantageous.

Residency:

Open to residents in Egypt (Egyptians and non-Egyptians) living in Cairo and Giza only. (Evidence should be submitted for shortlisted candidates).

Skills and Competencies:

We are seeking individuals with skills and experience relevant to the position they are applying for. Proficiency in relevant software/tools is a plus.

Availability:

Ensure that employees can commit to the required working hours and are available for training sessions and project involvement as necessary.
